By exploring these tales across varying cultures including: China, the Haudenosaunee Confederacy, and Nigeria, guests are invited to reflect on creation, balance, perseverance, and the bonds that unite us all.

To honour these stories, Mythos was created in close collaboration with cultural experts, artists, musicians, and narrators from the communities represented. Their voices and perspectives ensure the exhibit resonates with authenticity and respect.

Pablo D. Herrera Veitia, Ph.D.
Subject Matter Consultant, Oshun
Pablo guided the cultural grounding of Oshun, ensuring the story reflected Yoruba traditions with authenticity. He is an Afro-Cuban poet, Òrìṣà/Ifá practitioner, rap music producer, and inaugural Afrosonic Studies Fellow at the University of Toronto Scarborough.

Dr. Elham Mirzania
Subject Matter Consultant, The Great Race
Elham consulted on The Great Race, providing expertise in Chinese folklore and cultural context. She is a Canadian-Iranian scholar with a Ph.D. in Modern Chinese Literature from Beijing University, recognized with the Special Book Award of China for Young Scholars.

Kevin J. White
Subject Matter Consultant & Screenwriter, Creation of Turtle Island
Kevin co-wrote and consulted on Creation of Turtle Island, drawing from Haudenosaunee cosmologies. An Akwesasne Mohawk, he is Assistant Professor of Indigenous Studies at the University of Toronto, specializing in Haudenosaunee creation stories, history, and culture.

Allison Wilson-Forbes
Screenwriter, Oshun
Allison wrote the script for Oshun, shaping the goddess’s story for the immersive format. She has directed and produced several award-winning shorts and is a sought-after story consultant for film and television producers in Canada, the UK, and the US.

Vincent Lui
Screenwriter, The Great Race
Vincent adapted The Great Race for Mythos, bringing humour and charm to the zodiac tale. A graduate of the Canadian Film Centre, he has written for animated series like Future Chicken and Pet Shop Zombies, and the award-winning webseries Tokens on Call.

Lindsey Lickers
Layout Designer & 2D Artist, Creation of Turtle Island
Lindsey designed the visual layout for Creation of Turtle Island, blending artistry with cultural symbolism. She is a mixed Onkwehon:we/Anishinaabe artist specializing in painting, beading, Indigenous facilitation, and land-based healing practices.

Segun Samson
Character & Concept Artist, Oshun
Segun developed the character designs and concept art for Oshun. A Nigerian artist with over a decade of experience, his work spans 2D and 3D design on award-winning projects for Netflix, Disney+, and theatrical releases.

Angel Ren
Character & Concept Artist, The Great Race
Angel created lively character art for The Great Race. An animation student at Sheridan College, she is passionate about crafting emotionally resonant characters inspired by personal and cultural experiences.

Bill Crouse, Sr.
Musician, Creation of Turtle Island
Bill contributed traditional Seneca music to Creation of Turtle Island. A faithkeeper of the Seneca Nation Hawk Clan, he is also leader of the Allegany River Seneca Dancers and a graphic artist, illustrator, and author.

Jason Harris
Musician, Creation of Turtle Island
Jason performed original flute music for Creation of Turtle Island. He is Plains Cree from Pelican Lake First Nation, a self-taught musician, and respected singer who has shared his craft internationally.

Renee Thomas-Hill
Narrator, Creation of Turtle Island
Renee voiced the narration for Creation of Turtle Island. A Mohawk elder of the Turtle Clan, she carries forward teachings of peace, power, and sacredness, and is a cultural educator and grandmother.

Theresa Ho
Narrator, The Great Race
Theresa brought The Great Race to life through her narration. A Montreal-based voice actor of Chinese heritage, she works across commercials, e-learning, video games, and on-camera projects.

Emmanuel Bonsu
Vocal Performance (Obatala & Ogun), Oshun
Emmanuel voiced key characters in Oshun, adding depth to the storytelling. A Ghanaian artist and storyteller based in the Netherlands, he has worked in radio, film, and digital content creation.

Binja Zihhalirwa
Vocal Performance (Oshun), Oshun
Binja provided the voice of Oshun, embodying the goddess with vibrancy and presence. She is a radio presenter and versatile voice actor with credits in animation, commercials, and audio drama.

Eric Maximus Ekwueme
Vocal Performance (Shango & Olodumare), Oshun Eric voiced Shango and Olodumare in Oshun, bringing decades of voiceover mastery to the project. A Nigerian talent with 2,500+ projects to his name, he is recognized as one of Africa’s top voice actors.
