Immersive dome

Shared Sky

Guests look up into a projected sky and, if the brief calls for it, influence a shared scene together.

Useful for: Signature temporary spaces · Night-sky storytelling · Shared seated experiences

Concept · no dome delivered
Illustrative 3D concept for Shared Sky
Illustrative concept render. The readiness note distinguishes delivered capabilities from work proposed for this version.

Scoped after feasibility

Before HST. Third-party costs are additional:
Dome shell, projection, audio, power, site works and operation require dedicated vendor pricing.

Initial programme

Set after feasibility

site design and the chosen dome system determine the programme.

What we build for your brief

These are the studio workstreams for this direction. The agreed proposal defines the deliverables and separates hardware and other vendor costs.

The guest journey: Enter together → Look into the world → Follow the story → Return to the site

Why this is a credible starting point

Existing capability

The studio has a multi-projector and 360-degree content pipeline.

What is developed for this version

This is a concept, not a previously delivered dome. Shell, projection integration, access and operating feasibility need site design.

Operating snapshot

Space and power
Illustrated 36 ft dome with entry/service ring: roughly 50 × 50 ft of suitable level ground.
Guests and pace
Seating, accessible positions, exits and show length determine the approved audience capacity during site design.
People to run it
A host controls entry and sessions; technical and shell-operation responsibilities need a vendor-supported plan.

Confirm with the venue

  • The dome supplier must confirm structural, fire, ventilation, weather and anchoring requirements.
  • Plan step-free entry, suitable seating, hearing access and routes out during the show.
  • Projector geometry and content brightness must be validated in the actual shell.

During the run

The first useful step is a feasibility scope covering the site, shell partner and content approach. Installation, daily checks, weather decisions and return visits are costed once that model is known.

What the recap can tell you

Admissions and session occupancy can be counted through the agreed entry process. Any interaction measures are defined with the chosen mechanic during feasibility.

Next step: shape the scope together.

Send the studio your audience, event date or timing, venue if known, and the action you want guests to take. The conversation can identify the creative direction, venue checks and whether a prototype is needed before a build proposal.
