What we build for your brief
These are the studio workstreams for this direction. The agreed proposal defines the deliverables and separates hardware and other vendor costs.
- The character treatment
Your character look and photo frame, developed around the campaign.
- The live transformation
The character effect, capture flow and on-screen reveal.
- The installation fit
Prototype the physical mirror or kiosk integration and camera placement for the venue.
The guest journey: Step into the frame → See the transformation → Make it their own → Choose a keepsake
Why this is a credible starting point
Existing capability
A self-serve photobooth has shipped at Illuminarium; the character effect currently exists as a phone-web prototype.
What is developed for this version
The physical mirror, kiosk integration and your character treatment need to be prototyped together.
Operating snapshot
- Space and power
- 6 × 6 ft activation zone; queue and accessible approach need additional space. One standard outlet.
- Guests and pace
- One guest at a time. Planning target: 32–35 guests/hour, including the reveal and photo.
- People to run it
- The sample flow is automated. Guest assistance and technical coverage are agreed for the venue and live hours.
Confirm with the venue
- Test lighting, camera position and character alignment in the actual enclosure.
- Provide a reachable interface, seated framing and a guest route that does not depend on a phone.
- Agree image retention, delivery method and consent wording before launch.
During the run
The opening plan specifies resets, consumables if any, guest assistance, technician coverage and what happens if delivery connectivity fails. Repeat runs and new character content are separately scoped.
What the recap can tell you
The recap can report completed photos, delivery links generated and separately consented subscriptions. Confirmed downloads or sharing events are distinguished from links created.
Next step: shape the scope together.
Send the studio your audience, event date or timing, venue if known, and the action you want guests to take. The conversation can identify the creative direction, venue checks and whether a prototype is needed before a build proposal.
